Whistle Blower Policy
All the employees, customers and suppliers of IMR have a professional responsibility to speak up and report unethical behaviour. IMR strongly encourages all the concerned to speak up if they suspect or witness any matters of concern.
Procedure
All the employees, customers and suppliers of IMR have a professional responsibility to speak up and report unethical behaviour. IMR strongly encourages all the concerned to speak up if they suspect or witness any matters of concern.
- All the employees (working now or in the past), deployed candidates and their relatives, suppliers, other stakeholders are eligible for whistle blowing.
- The whistle blower shall report the Illegal conduct, such as theft, violence or threatened violence, and criminal damage against property, offering or accepting a bribe, fraud, money laundering ,financial irregularities, failure to comply with, or breach of, legal or regulatory requirements; and engaging in or threatening to engage in detrimental Conduct against a person who has made or planning to make disclosure.
- The whistleblower shall make sure that before making their whistleblower report they should be has reasonable grounds to suspect reportable conduct, reasonable grounds to suspect is based on objective reasonableness of the reasons for the suspicion. In practice, a mere allegation with no supporting information is unlikely to reach that standard.
- Reporting shall be made in the hotline/helpline number or in the official website.
- Reporting shall be also done directly to Executive Secretary.
- If possible following information like date, time and location, names of person(s) involved, if any relationship with the person(s) involved, the general nature of your concern, how you became aware of the issue, possible witnesses, and other information that you have to support your report shall be provided.
Investigation
- All whistle blower Reports shall be assessed carefully to determine whether an investigation is required. The outcomes of the investigation are reported to the board for fair business which shall review the outcome and determine appropriate actions to respond to the matter.
- If necessary a mediator to communicate between the investigation team and whistle-blower shall be appointed.

- While the particular circumstances of each whistleblower report may require different investigation steps, all investigations shall follow a fair process i.e. the investigation team shall not be biased, someone who is neutral to the complaint at hand and the people involved shall be selected and the selected person should have no vested interest in the outcome beyond ensuring that the investigation result is fair to all involved., conducted as quickly and efficiently as the circumstances permit, determine whether there is enough evidence to substantiate the matters reported and be independent of the person(s) concerned with the allegations. The purpose of the investigation is to determine whether there is enough evidence to substantiate the matters reported.
- The whistle blower shall be provided with feedback, as appropriation the progress and expected time-frames of the investigation.
- The disclosures shall be handled confidentially. There shall be a presumption of innocence until the outcome of the investigation is determined and resolved.
